"Task views: list, board, deadlines, calendar and timeline"
Five ways to look at the same tasks, and what each one is good for.
The buttons at the top right of the Tasks tab show the same tasks in five ways: List, Board, Deadlines, Calendar and Timeline. The page remembers the view you used last. Whatever you choose with I do, I set and the other buttons, the deadline buttons, search and filters applies to every view.
List
A table with Task, Responsible, Deadline, Status, Priority, Project and Time. Click a column heading to sort by it; click again to reverse the order.
To split the list into groups, use the menu on the right: Group by project, Group by status, Group by person or Group by deadline. No grouping puts it back.
Board
One column per status: To do, In progress, In review, Deferred and Done. Drag a card to another column to change its status. Dropping a card on Done finishes the task.
Press + at the top of a column, type a title and press Enter to add a task straight into that column.

Deadlines
One column per deadline: Overdue, Due today, Due this week, Due next week, Later and No deadline. Use it to plan your week. Press Quick task at the top of a column to add a task there. Its deadline is filled in to fit the column, and you can change it before you press Add task.
Calendar
A month calendar with each task on its deadline day. Overdue tasks are red, finished ones are crossed out. Use the arrows to change month, and Today to come back. Double-click a day to create a task due that day.
Only tasks with a deadline appear here. Meetings and events are in the main Calendar.
Timeline
A six-week chart with a bar for each task from its start to its deadline. The bar shows the first name of the responsible person, and a line marks today. Milestones are drawn as a diamond. Grey bars are open tasks, blue ones are in progress, red ones are overdue and green ones are done. Use the arrows to move two weeks back or forward.
Only tasks with a start date or a deadline appear on the timeline.
