Modules
Your own record types, built to fit your business.
Build a module
Create a module, its fields and its stages
- What a module is and when to use oneModules are record types you build yourself, such as Properties, Tickets or Client payments, with their own fields, board and links.
- Create your own moduleAdd a module from a ready-made solution or from scratch, give it a name, icon and colour, and choose whether it has a board.
- Add and arrange a module's fieldsAdd fields of any type to a module, make them required or calculated, and choose what the list and the quick form show.
- Set up a module's stagesGive a module a board, then add, rename, recolour, reorder and delete its stages and mark which ones are won and lost.
- Attach a module to other recordsLink a module's records to deals, leads, contacts, companies, team members or other modules, show them as tabs, and use module fields elsewhere.
- Decide who can see and change a moduleWho may build modules and their stages, and how roles set who sees, creates, changes, deletes and exports a module's records.
- Switch a module off or delete itHide a module from the menu and keep its records, or delete it for good, and what to do when its payments still count.
Work with module records
Add, move and link records
- Work with a module's list and boardSwitch between a module's board and list, find records, choose what cards and columns show, see totals, and import or export.
- Add module records and work in the cardAdd a record with the full or quick form, move it through stages, and log activities, comments and tasks on its card.
- Automate a moduleSet rules that run when a module record enters a stage, build automations on its records, and start workflows by hand.
- Sell from a module - products, estimates and invoicesGive a module's records product rows, and make estimates and invoices from them, the way a deal does.
Money modules
Client payments, instalments and invoices
- Money modules - money in and money outMake a module count as money received or money spent on a deal, and see it in the deal's Money panel, on companies and in the Ledger.
- Client payments that pay the deal's invoicesLet client payment records count as paid on a deal's invoices, choose the invoice yourself, invoice a payment, and see payments taken elsewhere.
