Contacts
The people who have told you who they are, in the chat, through your website or through a connected tool.
Contacts lists the people you know by name or email. Someone becomes a contact when they:
- fill in Name and Email in the chat window,
- are recognised by your website, see Recognise customers who are signed in to your website, or
- are added through the API or a connected tool, such as TicAte CRM.
The list shows each contact's Name, Email, Phone and Company, Linked in (the connected tools that hold the same person) and when they were last Updated.
Their chats are linked to them, and when they come back to your website on the same browser, the Inbox and Live visitors show their name.
