Your profile and name
Change the name your team sees, and how it relates to the name your website visitors see.
Your profile holds your name, as your teammates see it in the inbox and the team list. On websites that show each agent's own name, it is also the name your visitors see on your replies.
Change your name
- Click your name at the bottom of the left menu and choose Profile. You can also open Settings and click Your profile.
- Type your name in Name.
- Click Save name.
The new name shows straight away, in the menu and on your earlier replies too.
A name can be up to 80 characters, on one line.
Your name and your visitors
Each website decides whose name its visitors see on replies: each agent's own name, one name for everyone such as your brand, or none. If a website shows a brand, changing your profile does not change what its visitors see. See Choose the name visitors see on replies.
Your email and password
Email is the address you sign in with. Your password belongs to your TicAte account; see Sign in with your TicAte account.
