Suggested questions
Offer visitors a few questions they can tap instead of typing, under your greeting.
Suggested questions are buttons under your greeting, such as "Do you deliver to my area?". A visitor taps one and it is sent as their message, so the chat starts with one tap instead of a blank box.
They show only while the chat is empty, and disappear once anything has been said. If the website asks for name and email first, they appear as soon as the visitor has clicked Start chat.
Add suggested questions
Changing them needs the owner or admin role.
- Click Websites in the menu.
- On the website's card, under Suggested questions, click Add a question, or Add another once there are some, and type it.
- Add up to five. Each can be up to 80 characters.
- Click Save widget settings.

The cross beside a question removes it. A website with none says "None yet. Visitors type their own question."
Choose good questions
- Use the questions your team really hears most. Your saved replies are a good place to look: each common answer has a question behind it.
- Write them the way a visitor would say them: "Can I book a home visit?" rather than "Home visits".
- Keep them short. Three or four is usually right.
Questions are set for each website, so each brand can offer its own.
